Information Services Division
The Information Services Division (IS) is the information technology management center for Treasury. Over $120 billion flows through Treasury systems annually. IS designs, develops and maintains the modern, customer-centered technology infrastructure that makes these financial transactions possible.
The automated systems purchased, developed, and supported by IS serve directly the needs of state agencies, local governments, banks, and other financial firms. These systems include networks, software applications, telecommunications, and other information technology services.
The division's motto is:
"Moving Forward Together"
To achieve this, the Information Services Division will professionally support and consistently improve information technologies and related infrastructures of Oregon State Treasury and "move forward together" in promoting policies, implementing programs, and achieving goals of the agency while emphasizing customer service, information security, and financial stewardship to the citizens of Oregon.
The vision will be achieved through a series of initiatives that:
- Focus on promoting and using information technology efficiently across the agency to support Treasury customers.
- Foster strategic relationships and encourage collaboration in the effective use of information technology at all levels of the agency.
- Maintain customer focus in providing electronic and traditional access to Treasury services and information.
- Ensure reliable and timely delivery of quality services and information to customers.
- Respect customers' right to participate and right to know, while protecting their right to privacy.
- Establish Treasury as a state leader in developing information technology that promotes fiscal responsibility and financial stewardship.
