Resources for the Public and Press
The State Treasury is a multifaceted financial enterprise that saves public dollars through the management of Oregon's investments, public banking and debt management functions. The office also helps the public through outreach, publications and efforts to improve financial education.

Please remember that the State Treasury does not handle tax collection, and nor does it draft the state budget, set pension policy or benefits, or maintain figures about agency spending.

The web site for the State Treasury includes archived news releases plus a calendar of upcoming meetings and events and any open Requests for Proposals. You can also find information about boards and commissions, information about the members of those boards, and instructions how to apply.

The site also contains a wealth of information about <>public investment management , the Oregon Bond Calendar, the state debt capacity and the popular Oregon 529 College Savings Network, which lets families set aside dollars for education and job training and receive tax benefits. There is also a facts and figures area that provides Treasury-related data.
