The State Treasurer does not set tax rates, modify tax policy or collect any taxes. This page has links to connect you to the appropriate tax-collecting authority.
The Oregon Legislature sets tax and revenue policy, and the Department of Revenue handles Oregon income and corporate tax assessment and collection. Property taxes are assessed and collected by the county where the respective property is located.
There is no general sales tax in Oregon.

Oregon also assesses taxes including a statewide lodging tax, cigarette tax and fuel and weight-mile taxes. The Department of Revenue also answers questions about those taxes.
Refunds issued but not claimed within the past two years are held by the Department of Revenue. However, if those refunds were filed but not claimed more than two years ago, the money could be held for safekeeping in the Oregon Unclaimed Property Program.
