- Certificate of Achievement: To be eligible to receive a Certificate of Achievement, a participant
must be an elementary school-aged child (kindergarten – grade 5) residing in Oregon
and must meet the program’s reading requirements and deadline.
- College savings plan scholarship eligibility: Parent/guardian and child
must be U.S. citizens or resident aliens with valid Social Security numbers.
Children or grandchildren of employees of the Office of the State Treasurer
are not eligible for the college savings plan scholarship drawing.
- Children who are eligible for the college savings plan scholarship drawing
may win only one scholarship per year.
- Scholarship winners will be notified by mail no later than April 29, 2012.
- All scholarships will be in the form of a $500 Oregon College Savings Plan account.
- Ten Oregon College Savings Plan account scholarships will be awarded
to eligible participants in each of Oregon’s five Congressional districts.
- All scholarships must be claimed by June 30, 2012, or the scholarship will be forfeited.
